The Simple Food Project believe our pets deserve real food in amounts proportional to their naturally carnivorous diets.
Due to the busyness of our daily lives, preparing a daily gourmet meal for our dogs is somewhat unattainable.
We wanted to provide a solution, so we created The Simple Food Project: the healthfulness of a freshly prepared meal with the convenience of “scoop & serve”. Tested & approved by our own dogs, we hope yours love it just as much!
It can be difficult to compare pet foods, especially with so many different product offerings on the market. So to help with that, we went ahead and laid out exactly what ingredients you’re getting in your box of Simple Food. The big difference in our food (versus others on the shelf) is that we’re made entirely of fresh, whole foods. No rendered meals, no fillers, no synthetic vitamins and minerals. Just real, whole food. See for yourself!

Feeding Guide
Raw food requires safe handling. Be sure to wash hands, bowls, surfaces, & utensils before and after feeding. Keep food sealed until ready to use & serve in a stainless steel bowl. Keep away from children & the elderly, and separate from other foods.
Feed according to the chart below, adjusting to your own dog’s needs. We suggest dividing up the serving suggestion into two meals, feeding in both the morning and evening. Add warm water or a broth, or serve dry. Refrigerate or discard leftovers after rehydrating.
*A reminder that Simple Food Project can be fed dry, but you may add moisture if you so desire. Whether broth, milk, or just water, we recommend adding it warm & letting it soak for 5 minutes. Always feed with plenty of fresh drinking water.
Transitioning
Mix bits of The Simple Food Project Duck & Trout Recipe with your pet’s current food, slowly increasing the proportion over 5-7 days, allowing for a gentle shift in diet.
